Why We're Like This

2020 · text, image, systems

What feels like private dysfunction is often the emotional weather produced by larger social and technological systems.

Each essay begins with a recognizable feeling and follows it outward through media, technology, labor, social expectation, and the body. The form moves between evidence and atmosphere rather than offering a single explanatory diagnosis. Season scripts and research material are documented; production imagery and edit timelines should be understood as proposed until episodes are completed. The project connects the archive’s systems thinking to a direct, emotionally legible moving-image form.
