Administrative language becomes literary material for recording what official systems misname, ration, or leave absent.
The manuscript borrows the authority of bureaucratic documents and turns it toward experiences those documents fail to contain. Identity, speech, memory, and permission are processed through clinical categories, negative space, and a composite linguistic register. Rather than parodying administration, the work uses its rigid surfaces to carry emotional pressure. It is a completed draft in active revision and forms an important literary predecessor to Sometimes I Wake Up Elsewhere.
