Exile changes not only where a story happens, but how memory permits the story to be entered and returned to.
Across approximately 100 modular entries, ordinary rooms, errands, animals, forms, and physical details accumulate into a dream logic of displacement. The digital structure does not merely illustrate the manuscript: revisiting a passage can change its state, and accumulated “temporal debt” can alter the reading surface. The manuscript exists; the Möbius Engine and interface are active development layers. The project remains literary first, with the system designed to protect the tenderness, humor, and instability of the writing.
