FICTIVE ENVIRONMENTS

2025–26 · space, code, text

Fiction can do more than describe another world; it can specify the structures required to build one.

The studio begins by writing the future condition clearly enough to test: a residency that behaves as care infrastructure, an archive organized by relation, or an interface that preserves cultural specificity. It then works backward toward the spatial briefs, software, partnerships, protocols, and public language needed to make that condition operational. Systems Choreography is the method; Fictive Environments is the practice through which that method is deployed.
